Well I actually have quite a bit to update here. I’ll be posting up more shots of the finished Swooping Hawk squadron as well as the Dire Avengers I finished up and the Warp Spiders I’m currently working on. And also my Fire Prism / Falcon tanks that are in progress.
I’ve discovered the glory of a “wet palette” now which makes blending MUCH MUCH easier (and doesn’t waste a ton of paint in the process). Not sure how I didn’t go this route sooner but I think it will work out pretty well!
So far the Sindar are holding up fairly well on the actual battlefield but have yet to secure a full victory (all draws with no direct defeat in 1v1 games). In a 2v2 game versus Tyranids we got smashed due to the wonderful combination of Dawn of War AND points…which with a Witch Hunter + Eldar versus 2 Tyranid hyrbid armies is NEVER going to fare well for the humanoid groups although the Harlequins did seem to hold their own in 5th and the Warp Spiders seem to be working themselves into my battle plans as a holdout skirmishing force to counter flanking maneuvers from the enemy. They are proving to be quite a resilient unit.
